Experts from around the globe share advice with members of HealthTime community. We have seven standards that define and differentiate our experts.
The profile, experience, general description, listing photos, and achievements of an expert should be a reflection of what advice our community members will receive.
Experts are expected to respond to every request raised by members. If unable to schedule an appointment at the requested time, they must suggest a new time or cancel the request providing a valid reason.
Commitment is the reflection of sincerity. Accept the consultation request only if you have the bandwidth to accommodate the appointment. In case of cancellation, reschedule the consultation or recommend another expert to the member.
Effective communication starts from the moment a community member turns to you for advice. It is imperative to respond to all the consultation enquiries and appointment requests within 24 hours.
The more you share, the more you learn. We expect our experts to answer all the questions during consultation clearly.
Preparing ahead of the consultation and being on-time leaves a positive impression. We suggest experts to take consultations on laptops or webcam enabled desktops instead of mobile phones and tablets. Reason being the Big Screen experience, which will end up getting you more positive reviews and likes from users. Mobile phones and small screen devices interrupt with the user experience. The person on the other hand isn’t able to see your hand movements and other gestures clearly.
When you promote your profile, it gets more visible on our platform as well as search engines like Google and Bing. To do this:
Try not to leave any field in your listing and profile section empty. Sharing all the details about background, expertise, achievements in a descriptive manner gives a positive impression about you. In addition, use high quality photographs as these have a positive impact on creativity.
The title and description in your profile say volumes. Include all the potential search terms that you think will help people in finding you.
Look at the profiles of other experts and see if you can keep the consultation rate similar. We always recommend new experts to keep their rates slightly lower than others and increase them after getting more reviews.
When you ‘tweet’, ‘like’ your profile, it enhances the credibility. Linking your social media profiles and website to your expert profile on HealthTime can help in getting a higher place on search engine results.
All experts on HealthTime have a blog widget. You can add the blog widget to your personal website. This way, you can promote the website on HealthTime, and increase credibility to get more consultation requests.

Title gives a serious impression of your professional role. Refrain from using long titles. We recommend that you mention the expertise you bring to the table in the title.
